Here are some helpful links to find what you’re looking for!
The most important things to consider when choosing the best golf grip for you are the size and material of the grip.
Size is often related to the size of your hand, as described in this article by saplize, which can help you pick the best grip for your size.
The most popular material for grips is rubber. Rubber grips have the advantage of being strong and sticky, so golfers who tend to sweat should look into the SAPLIZE Rubber Series CC01 and CC02 grips.
1)Let’s start with the rubber grips as they are so popular with players. Rubbers grips are a common choice because it is a sensation we are familiar with. They can be very comfortable to use with that blend of strong protective material and a softer texture with a little give. They feel right in the hand and don’t take too long to get used to, unlike something you haven’t used before. This means that you aren’t distracted taking a shot.
2)The quality of the best rubber golf grips also allows for a great non-slip surface that should be reliable in most conditions. So, if there is a rain shower during an important hole, you should be able to take your best shot. Top rubber grips, like those for sale here, have a special polyester material that is hard-wearing. You should be able to play multiple rounds over many years and still get the same grip from your clubs. Therefore, this is a great starting point for most players.
If you're looking for the perfect all-weather grip, SAPLIZE's cotton cord golf grip has you covered. Thanks to the combination of rope and rubber, this grip provides traction in both wet and dry weather conditions. The use of a special patterned micro-surface with engraved channels ensures firm, confident hand placement, making it a great all-rounder that won't hold you back too much either.
1)Cotton cord grips are something a little different and may not be as immediately comfortable as the more familiar rubber grip. However, the texture of these grips with the cotton thread provides a grat textured surface on which could otherwise be a slippery club. One feature that tends to impress buyers here is the performance in bad weather. The cotton threads offer a strong structure within the grip, so aren’t susceptible to damage in the rain.
2)You might expect something made of cotton to be a lot less durable than the rubber and PU counterparts. Yet, lots of users find that these threads are pretty strong when you have a well-made product. They feel good and should hold up to a lot of repeated use.
3)One final thing to be aware of here with cotton thread grips is that they can get a little bit expensive. So, it may be better to start with a lower-priced rubber grip as you get into the sport and upgrade at a later date.
PU grips take the user experience in a different direction. You have the internal rubber for the great feedback on the swing, but also a PU grip on the top for a more pleasant feel. Rubber can feel familiar, but it can also get a bit tacky and feel a little cheap at times. If you have the money to spend and want a more high-end feel, the PU option is a great choice. You still get a great grip and performance with a nice look and texture.
1) These top PU grips have a diamond pattern to add to the feel and the look of the clubs. This makes it feel great in your hand, but also adds an aesthetic edge to the grips that you might not get with other products. Looks aren’t as important as comfort and performance. But, it doesn’t hurt to have something that you can show off to other players in the club for some extra competition. Wraps don’t have the same visual impact as a diamond-patterned well-fitted PU grip.
2) Also, PU grips do more than just look good, they can lead for a long time when they are properly fitted and thick enough to take repeated use. They should maintain their non-slip properties for a while, making them a great choice for clubs used regularly for recreational games.
The alternative option here is to go for a wrapping grip. This is where you have a longer, thinner band of material that you wind around the club to get a more customized fit. It is one of the easiest to use because you don’t have to be too conscious about size options – which is something mentioned in a little more detail below.
1)You can wind the grip as needed, like putting on wrist tape at the gym or wrapping electrical tape for grip in DIY projects. There is no real compromise in the performance as you see get the texture of the PU material and the coverage that you need. You can also make it as comfortable as you need it to be rather than relying on the more rigid shapes and designs of other grips. You control how it fits and can make it just right for your hand. Many find it to be the most comfortable option of all. It all depends on whether you prefer the more luxurious feel of the full PU grip.
2)There is a potential downside to these wrapping grips, and that is their durability. PU grips are great for a long-lasting surface when fitted properly and with the best surface. However, the more DIY nature of wrapping tape means that you aren’t going to get the same longevity.
3)You have to weigh up the pros and cons here. Is it better to have a product that you can reapply for a customized fit and great feel whenever you head out to play or one that has a more permanent fit? It can depend on how often you go golfing. Players that head out every weekend for 18 holes at the local club may not want a more basic wrapping grip when a PU option looks and feel a little better. However, if you are more of a casual golfer that plays on vacation or every few months or so, a quality wrapping grip could be just what you need.
I Haven't Played Golf In Years, So When My Dad Asked Me To Go To The Driving Range With Him, I Went. I Started Hitting Some Balls And I Noticed All This Black Stuff Was Coming Off On My Hands. My Dad Said That My Grips Were Shot, And That It Would Cost $150-$200 To Replace All Of Them.
I Thought That It Couldn't Be That Difficult To Do It Myself, And After Researching It, I Decided To Get The Saplize Ones. I Also Liked That They Had A Video Of Someone Replacing Her Grips, So I Figured I Would Give It A Try. Oh And I Had No Idea What Size Grips I Needed, So I Found A Measuring Tool Online.
The Hardest Part Of The Process Was Getting The Old Grips Off Because They Were So Old. Putting The Saplize Ones On Was Extremely Simple. Even Though They Come With Written Directions, I Like Videos Better So I Referred Back To The Woman Replacing Hers, And It Worked Out Great.
I Met My Dad This Morning To Test Them Out, And He Couldn't Believe That I Did Them Myself. He Wants Me To Now Replace His Grips.

At first, I intended to have the golf pro change the Grips, but due to the pandemic issues, they were not (for whatever reason) offering the service. So I shopped online in a variety of golf sites, finally settling on the Saplize grips. The kit including my new grips arrived quickly and was packaged with more than enough materials plus the right tools.
I was a bit unsure of exactly how I would do the installation. There are quite a few YouTube videos promoting a number of different methods of grip to installation. To me, the most useful and reliable video was done by the Saplize rep. Another video recommended using a metal paint roller tray to collect and reuse the excess solvent by dripping it over the tapped club shaft. This worked nicely as I found that by using a lot of solvent and my bench vice to hold the rubber club gripper, I was able to easily slip the grips onto the club shafts and align them without making a huge mess. If you have never done this before, make sure to watch several different videos of how to do it! For example, one video suggested using your finger to run the solvent down the bottom side of the taped club shaft to make sure the tape was completely lubricated. This worked like a charm!

This was absolutely the best experience I have had with re-gripping clubs. The trick is in proper preparation. Thoroughly cleaning off the old grip tape is the single hardest and most time-consuming part of the task. (I used brake cleaner and shop towels and wiped it all away, as I had 10 clubs with graphite shafts that needed new grips and scraping just wasn't going to be an option). Set yourself up to recover the "wasted" grip solvent and make sure to spray enough on and spread enough inside each grip, and on they go. Anyone having a hard time getting the grips on is not using enough solvent. What you catch in a bin that is overspray and comes out of the grip when you run it over the shaft as shown in the video can be returned to the solvent bottle and reused another time. The tape that came with this set became uber slippery for installation, but super tacky when dry to secure the grips. Thanks for a great product and instructions at a very good price.

I recently took golf back up again, and found that my grips had dry rotted. As I was unsure how much golf I was going to play I did not want to spend over $100 on re-gripping clubs. After reading the reviews and watching the video I decided to give them a try. It definitely helps to have a vice to mount your clubs, but after the first couple of clubs the process became quite easy. My husband who is an avid golfer watched my progress and was impressed with the installation and the final product. I have been using my clubs with the new grips and am every pleased with the feel!
